AirLink Critical Care Transport
In a medical emergency, every second counts…especially when transporting patients who are far away from specialized medical treatment. No one knows that better than the flight crew at AirLink Critical Care Transport, an emergency air ambulance service with nearly three decades of experience and more than 24,000 missions flown.
Averaging two-to-three missions each day, AirLink responds to scene calls, hospital-to-hospital transports and assists search and rescue teams—carrying seriously ill or injured patients to the nearest appropriate medical facility. With two bases in Bend, AirLink flies a Eurocopter EC-145 helicopter and a Pilatus PC-12 airplane to respond at a moment’s notice around the clock, throughout the year.
AirLink’s team includes the highest level of medical trained personnel. These local professionals—a team of 50 strong—include highly trained pilots, registered respiratory therapists, critical care nurses, neonatal nurses and paramedics, and each life-saving mission is configured to include the appropriate medical personnel for each patient. AirLink is trained and committed to taking all necessary measures to improve patient outcomes, and is the only local air ambulance program to offer neonatal (mother and newborn) transport in the region.
Our affordable membership plans protect members and their families from emergency air transport expenses, which can range from $15,000 to $40,000. In addition, AirLink offers FireMed ground memberships and FireMed ground/air combination memberships in select communities.
